Project Assistant 

Sabrina Alvarez (she, her, hers) is a thoughtful organizer and connector who brings attention to detail and strong project coordination skills to her role as Project Assistant at VIVA. She supports client projects across VIVA’s practice areas by managing timelines, coordinating teams, handling logistics and vendors, and ensuring clear communication to help clients achieve their goals and support their communities.

Sabrina is especially proud of her work on the Tri-County Home Visiting project, led by First 5 Santa Barbara County, and is deeply committed to supporting families and communities through her work at VIVA.

Before joining VIVA, Sabrina spent several years in nonprofit program management, helping low-income families and communities access essential services and resources. She is passionate about using her project management and coordination skills to create positive social impact, grounded in her core belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. 

Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys reading, exploring both new and favorite restaurants, walking with her dog, and traveling whenever she can.
