Krista Beams (she, her, hers) is a graphic designer who is always up for a challenge. Whether she’s developing a website, designing printed collateral, or leading visual branding, she supports the development of strategic and visually compelling content across VIVA’s projects. With extensive experience in branding, graphic design, web, animation, and video development, Krista creates beautiful and inclusive materials that help translate complex ideas and data into visuals that inspire understanding and social change. Her keen eye for clean, bold, contemporary, eye-catching design and a commitment to capturing the vision of our clients in her work, which can be seen here in the public awareness campaign she developed for the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood.

Krista translates complex information and stories into clear, compelling visuals to make knowledge accessible and inspire social change.

Before joining VIVA, Krista worked as a digital visual designer, elementary arts teacher, and university instructor. Outside of her design work, she is a traditional oil painter who creates colorful still lifes, botanical scenes, and portraits exploring women and representation in mass media. Her artwork is regularly exhibited around the Bay Area, where her vibrant visual storytelling continues to connect and inspire.
