In order to inform its early childhood community investment approach, the Lesher Foundation partnered with VIVA to understand the needs of Contra Costa families as it relates to helping their very young children thrive and have the foundation of well-being, social, emotional and relationship capacities, language and literacy, and cognitive skills they need to be prepared for kindergarten and poised for future academic and life success.
VIVA conducted interviews with service organization stakeholders, convened a listening session, and prepared a report for the organization outlining key themes and findings.
