About Rebecca

Rebecca has a passion for equity and evidence-based solutions that has driven her thorough and strategic approach to social impact. She brings expertise elevating community voices to inform public policy and program strategy. Her impact spans the globe through her work across the United States, Latin America and East Africa. As a systems thinker and data expert, Rebecca distills complex information into actionable insights. Prior to joining VIVA, Rebecca led foundations in tackling urgent global issues through evidence-driven decision-making. As a researcher, she investigated the disproportionate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on women, mothers, and unauthorized immigrants. Through research, complete information, and deep understanding Rebecca knows that equitable access to opportunity is possible.
