Maya uses data visualization, analysis, and design thinking to develop results focused on integrating community health, storytelling, and data-based solutions. Maya is a practiced and awarded social researcher, passionate about bringing findings from the page to the field. She is analytical, creative, and invested in ensuring access to services for all Californians, especially youth and immigrant populations. Before VIVA, Maya spent two years working in social impact consulting for Northern California counties, helping to optimize processes including client outreach, service delivery, and training accessibility. Maya believes every narrative holds a possible solution in it, and prioritizes clear communication and integrity in her work.
